Aerlex Law Group (ALG) and Aerlex Tax Services (ATS) are the Presenting Sponsors of the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Taxes Seminar, being held this year on May 4th and 5th at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, California.

ATS Chief Executive Officer Vicky Boladian, a recognized expert in the field of business aviation taxation, has been invited to speak at the seminar. Boladian and Jordan Miller of CenterPoint Aviation Law in Seattle will be the presenters at a session on state tax planning with a specific focus on Western states. Boladian explained, “ATS has frequently been a sponsor of NBAA tax events and we’re happy to support this event in Los Angeles. Since the seminar is being held on the West Coast this year, NBAA thought it would be appropriate to focus particular attention on tax considerations and planning that are specific to the Western states.”

ALG President Stephen Hofer and Brian Monkarsh, who recently joined ALG as Senior Counsel – Commercial Aircraft, will also attend the seminar. Hofer said, “We’re pleased to have the NBAA Tax Seminar in Marina del Rey, which is just a couple miles from the Aerlex offices. Given the proximity, we thought it was important that Aerlex take a leadership role and serve as the official Presenting Sponsor for this event. We are looking forward to welcoming the business aviation community to Los Angeles.”

NBAA offers the tax seminar each year with the goal of presenting an in-depth analysis of business aviation tax issues. Previously a one-day event, this year’s seminar has been expanded to a day and a half for the first time with its kick-off session at 1:30pm on May 4th. Presenters focus exclusively on business aviation and provide valuable information on complex tax and regulatory issues. Professionals involved with tax, accounting and legal topics associated with business aircraft, including attorneys, tax advisors, accountants, aircraft owners and operators, and flight department personnel, will find the seminar relevant to their business.
