Aerlex Law Group

Meet Amanda Applegate at the White Plains NBAA Regional Forum

NBAA Regional Forums 2016--White Plains

Amanda Applegate, Senior Transactional Attorney with the Aerlex Law Group, will be in White Plains, New York, on Thursday, September 15, 2016, to meet with existing and prospective clients when the National Business Aviation Association (“NBAA”) conducts a day-long Regional Forum at the Westchester County Airport (HPN). The September event is the third in a series of three one-day conferences sponsored by NBAA each year at selected airports and FBOs (fixed-base operators) around the country and will be open to attendees from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Amanda Applegate has been practicing aviation law for 18 years including the last five years with Aerlex. She has developed a well-deserved reputation as one of the nation’s best business aviation attorneys and is known worldwide for her monthly columns published in BusinessAir magazine. The White Plains Regional Forum will offer current and prospective Aerlex clients in the northeastern United States a convenient opportunity to meet Ms. Applegate and discuss matters with her face-to-face.

NBAA Regional Forums are educational and peer networking conferences that bring together current and prospective business aircraft owners, operators, manufacturers, customers and other industry professionals to share information and discuss issues affecting aviation in the region. The conference also provides a valuable introduction for local business leaders interested in learning more about the aviation industry.

The White Plains Regional Forum will offer over 180 indoor exhibitors and nearly 50 planes participating in a static display of aircraft. The static display offers a unique opportunity for potential buyers and operators to compare and examine the latest business aircraft side by side in one location. At the indoor exhibit halls, attendees can view and learn about the latest aviation equipment, products, services and supplies.

Education sessions are a key component of every regional forum, and industry experts will provide valuable information on various business aviation topics during seminars throughout the day. Subjects will include an opening session on “Advocating for Business Aviation” that will touch on important legislative, regulatory and operational issues that will affect the industry in the coming year. Additional seminars will focus on how globalization is affecting business aviation, the dramatic changes in aircraft values in recent years, and the status of current law on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), also known as drones.
