MEET WITH STEVE HOFER AT HELI-EXPO—HOFER TO PRESENT ON UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS

Aerlex Law Group President Stephen Hofer will be speaking at an educational seminar being held on Monday, March 6, in conjunction with the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo in Dallas, Texas. Heli-Expo, the world’s largest helicopter exhibition and trade show, runs from March 6th through March 9th at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

HAI’s Finance & Leasing Committee is presenting the March 6th day-long seminar, entitled “Helicopter Transactions in a Global Marketplace.” The program will bring industry experts together from around the world to examine all aspects of helicopter acquisitions in a series of interactive sessions. Mr. Hofer – who also spoke at Heli-Expo in 2014 and 2016 – will team with finance and strategy consultant John Mannion, President of the Kylemore Group in Houston, Texas, to discuss unmanned aircraft systems in a session entitled “Droning On: Owning and Operating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in a Rapidly Changing Environment.”

This year’s Heli-Expo is expected to draw over 20,000 attendees, including operators, pilots, maintenance technicians, managers, and safety professionals, who come from all around the world to see the latest in rotorcraft and technology, connect with vendors, network with industry peers and attend educational programs. More than 700 companies will be exhibiting at Heli-Expo and more than 60 rotorcraft will be displayed by the major manufacturers. In addition, a full range of professional education programs, including courses in safety, pilot proficiency, maintenance, management and career development, will be offered, along with workshops, forums and special events highlighting current trends in the industry.
