Vicky Boladian, CEO of Aerlex Tax Services, will participate in a panel discussion on women in aviation and aerospace, presented by Merrill Lynch at the Manhattan Beach Country Club on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Ms. Boladian will join other women executives and leaders in the aviation and aerospace industry to address a range of topics centered around the theme, “Women Reaching Their Goals: Opportunities, Challenges and Resources.”
Vicky Boladian works in the aviation industry as an attorney and expert on tax planning for aircraft owners and operators. She speaks frequently to aviation organizations such as the National Business Aviation Association and Helicopter Association International. Ms. Boladian said, “I am so pleased to be invited to participate in a discussion geared specifically to improving opportunities for women in my industry, and I applaud Damon and Jason for creating this panel.” She added, “It’s so important for us to address the obstacles that prevent more women from entering careers in aviation and aerospace. It would be a huge loss for the industry to miss out on attracting the bright, talented women who are graduating with degrees in science, technology, engineering and math. We must grow the networks of industry support and resources to facilitate and encourage women’s success.”
This special program for and about women was initiated by Damon Skinner, Financial Advisor, and Jason Kelso, Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor, of the El Segundo office of Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Inc. Asked why this presentation was a priority, Damon explains, “Working with many individuals and companies in the Aerospace/Aviation industry, it has become very apparent that women are under-represented in upper management roles. As stewards of this small, inclusive group of talent, we feel it is our duty to help the industry as a whole, and more importantly, women to be successful. We decided to be pro-active with this current challenge and gather some of the brightest women in the industry. Our goal is to allow sharing of ideas, offer support to one another, and promote personal, career and leadership development. We are honored to be able to provide this platform, and at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, we are dedicated to providing these resources to the community.”
The event will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017. The Manhattan Beach Country Club is located at 1330 Parkview Avenue in Manhattan Beach. If you would like to attend or learn more, contact Damon Skinner at email@example.com or 310-536-1621.
