NARA Annual Spring Meeting–April 25-27, 2018

HOFER AND APPLEGATE HEAD FOR NARA MEETING IN SCOTTSDALE

Aerlex Partner Amanda Applegate will be speaking on an educational panel during the Annual Spring Meeting of the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) being held from April 25 – 27, 2018, at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch in Arizona. Stephen Hofer, President of Aerlex, will also be attending the annual gathering to convene with fellow NARA members who are aircraft brokers and service or product providers to the aviation industry.

Ms. Applegate will be a co-presenter with legal colleagues Scott Burgess of Aviation Legal Group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Edward Kammerer of Hinckley Allen in Providence, Rhode Island. Their presentation, “5, 6, 7…10 Ways to Stay out of Jail” will employ a fictional scenario to portray the many pitfalls that a broker may encounter when striving to abide by ethical standards and to provide a client with highly responsible services during a transaction.

NARA is an exclusive association of approximately 100 members in two membership categories: business jet broker/dealers and aviation product and service companies. The organization’s mission is to set a high standard for best practices in the business jet brokerage industry. Membership is awarded only after members complete a rigorous application process and agree to adhere to the NARA Code of Ethics. This insures that all members conduct themselves honorably and represent the best interests of their clients.
