Stephen Hofer to Speak at Heli-Expo Finance & Leasing Seminar

Aerlex Law Group President Stephen Hofer will be speaking at an educational seminar being held on Monday, February 26, in conjunction with the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Heli-Expo, the world’s largest helicopter exhibition and trade show, runs from February 26th through March 1st at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

HAI’s Finance & Leasing Committee is presenting the February 26th day-long seminar called “Keys to a Successful Transaction.” The program will bring industry experts together to examine all aspects of helicopter acquisitions in a series of interactive sessions. Mr. Hofer will team with Jeffrey Towers, Vice President and General Counsel of TVPX, experts in aircraft trust services and 1031 services; and Nel Stubbs, Vice President of Conklin & de Decker Associates, Inc., leaders in aviation research, consulting and education. Their session, entitled “United States Tax Update: Tax Reform and the Impact on Helicopter Owners and Operators,” will address the implications of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 on rotorcraft acquisition and ownership.

For the second year, Aerlex is also pleased to sponsor the Finance & Leasing Seminar luncheon speaker. This year Matt Zuccaro, HAI President and CEO, will present the lunchtime program.

Heli-Expo 2018 is expected to draw over 20,000 participants, including operators, pilots, maintenance technicians, managers, and safety professionals. The attendees come from more than 90 countries to see the latest in rotorcraft and technology, connect with vendors, network with industry peers and attend a full range of professional education programs.
