Vicky Boladian, the Aerlex Law Group’s tax specialist, will be one of the featured speakers during the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Tax, Regulatory and Risk Management Conference October 20-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ms. Boladian’s presentation, on Day 2 of the Tax Conference, is entitled, “State Taxes: Minimizing Liabilities in Multiple States.”
Ms. Boladian is a recognized expert in the field of aviation tax issues, and, in particular, state sales and use tax and local property tax assessed on aircraft acquisitions and ownership. She has spoken frequently on a broad range of tax matters and has regularly updated State Aviation Tax Reports for the NBAA Tax Committee.
The NBAA Tax Conference is an important annual gathering for business aviation professionals and provides attendees with the practical knowledge to help ensure their compliance with the complex web of federal, state and local government taxes and regulations that impact aircraft ownership. Attendees also learn about opportunities for structuring ownership and operation of business aircraft in order to maximize deductions. The conference always includes updates regarding changes in federal and state tax laws and policies and federal aviation regulations. The Tax Conference precedes NBAA’s Annual Meeting and Convention which also takes place in Las Vegas this year, October 22nd through October 24th.
